I've been in Tokyo, Japan, for a few days now. It's the most busiest city I've been in. The contrast between nature and city life is so big it could be two different worlds entirely. Nature has a beauty that you can't describe unless you see it with your own eyes. I'm going to try though.
Ueno Park
This was the place I went on my first day, I got up all early, got to this park at 7.30 am, morningbird much. at first I was surprised at how many Japanese were wandering around already seeing as it was a national holiday. Out of nowhere a pink white clouds of trees appear in front of you. These Cherry Blossom are standing in long rows, I walked around in a daze which was partially due to my jetlag and partially due to my amazement. Even this early in the morning the Japanese were already sitting under the Cherry trees to hold their spot for the celebration. After 2 hours of wandering around I decided to go back to my hotel, so I could come back later on the day and see the festival in full.
When I got back later that day the festival was in full bloom. More people had gathered under the trees. The tourists are easy to spot, not because they are taking pictures constantly, just because they are taller then the average native. Even the Japanese themselves are taking pictures constantly. Devices to make selfies with their phones, every camera, the Japanese take pictures everywhere.
Food stands spread a nice smell among the park, street-performers show their abilities in the park.
One moment you walk between the tallest skyscrapers you've ever seen and the other moment you're in a different world filled with Cherry Blossom. There's much more to tell and much more to show.
I'll upload some pictures in my pictures gallery.
